Fishing is a fun sport which many manage by using a single fishing rod for all kinds of fishing. This may work initially as they may be aiming for the same kind of fish found in the same waters but not for long. As an experienced angler, I can say that fishing is more fun when it is done in lakes, streams, and rivers. Even some salt water fishing too.
A Couple of Fishing rods
If you decide to fish in places like streams, rivers, or lakes, use fishing rods appropriately. Yet again, if you want to catch other varieties of fish then different fishing rods are required. Diverse fishing conditions necessitate the use of a couple of fishing rods. Your trout fishing rod is no good for Walleye fishing.

Why Two Or More
To explain this better, most of the time my fishing involves looking for trout in a river up in Montana. That is my favorite spot where I do major part of my fishing. I take two ultra light fishing rods for my trip. Do you want to know why? Well, the water conditions are not the same throughout the year. For nearly four months a year, the river’s water level is high necessitating the use of the six feet ultra light fishing rod. This helps enhanced handling of the bait and also you can sense better. This is not possible with a five feet fishing rod of the same variety. When the water is running normal, you can use the five feet ultra light fishing rod to catch your favorite game fish.
Better Smart Than Sorry
The water conditions are hardly the same when you go to fish even in the same place. If you do not want to be sorry regarding water situations, you should be wise enough to carry a couple of fishing rods which you feel will be handy to deal with any change in the water situation. You do not need to buy ten or twenty fishing rods. Keep in mind not to use the same fishing rod for fishing trout and catfish
Do Not Cost Much
To buy a fishing rod, you have to keep in mind what fish you want to catch and where. So now if you need to be having more than one fishing rod, it does not mean you need to empty your wallet to buy a couple of fishing rods. You can get a decent fishing rod with rods that is not priced more than fifty dollars, I did just that.
So why are you waiting? Do not think anymore of the cost and just go ahead and buy yourself a couple of rods if you have been managing with just one fishing rod. You can see the vast difference in the number of fishes you catch with the right rods for your kind of fishing and the fishing conditions in which you are going to be fishing.
